About Alevia Williams,
Founder of Mother Freda House of Refuge

Alevia Williams is the Founder and CEO of Mother Freda House of Refuge, a residential community founded on compassion, dignity, and the belief that everyone deserves a safe and welcoming place to call home.

Alevia’s passion for serving others began at an early age. Since the age of 16, she has been committed to supporting and caring for family members, including her great aunt, grandmother, mother, and father. These experiences shaped her understanding of the importance of compassion, respect, and creating environments where individuals feel valued and appreciated.

Throughout her journey, Alevia has developed a diverse background in service and advocacy. Her experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Licensed Insurance Broker, along with her knowledge of serving Medicare beneficiaries, has strengthened her commitment to helping individuals and families navigate resources and support systems.

In 2021, Alevia founded Mother Freda House of Refuge with a vision of creating a warm, respectful residential environment where individuals can experience comfort, connection, and a sense of belonging. The home was established to provide a supportive community setting where residents are valued as individuals and encouraged to maintain their independence and dignity.

Alevia believes that a home is more than a place to live—it is a place where people should feel respected, welcomed, and connected. Her dedication continues to guide the mission of Mother Freda House of Refuge as a trusted residential community.
